Event Lanyards

Event lanyards are excellent for visual advertising as they can be custom printed with company logo’s, website addresses and in many cases are sponsored to get first rate publicity especially if the show is televised or press are present at the event. The environments event lanyards are generally used in are music festivals, conferences, pop concerts, sporting events and entertainment related industries.  There are several uses for these lanyards such as clipping them onto your id passes to gain access to authorised areas only or more diversely clipping your keys on the end to keep them in a safe place. This type of lanyard is frequently used at music festivals where several laminated cards containing information about bands, stages and times can be hung onto the event lanyard.

There are 2 main printing processing processes for this style of lanyard – screen printed and dye sublimation.  Screen printing is a similar process to T-shirt printing where the ink lies on the surface of the material.  There are over 20 stock colours of polyester that we screen print onto in a variety of widths ranging from 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm.  Dye sublimation printing can achieve full colour printing and is a process where the ink submerges into the material and can achieve quite fine intricate detail.  The standard length for event lanyards is 900mm, although this can be adjusted to being shorter or longer dependent on preference.  There are several choices of hooks that can be fitted such as metal swivel clips, trigger clips or crocodile clips and in certain situations it is advisable to have a health and safety breakaway connector fitted to the lanyards.
