Tyvek wristbands are a paper based single use wristband used across all industries to identify anything or anybody. Discovered in 1955 tyvek is made from high density poleythelene firbres which allow the material to have the same benefits as paper, film and fabric in one product, perfect for tyvek wristbands.
Not commercially manufactured until 1967 tyvek is made by the spinning of 100% poleythelene fibres which are laid down as a web onto a moving bed before being bonded together using pressure and heat. By varying the lay down speeds and bonding process tyvek can be made to meet the needs of almost anything, including tyvek wristbands.

This process makes tyvek wristbands very durable, waterproof, tear/rip proof, light and comfortable to wear even though they feel like a paper based material. Having all these characteristics coupled with the economic way it is manufactured means that tyvek wristbands are also extremely cost effective for any day long use.
